Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed September 16, 2026

JamesBlackwell.com should be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. The goal for this site is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What’s built in

  • Semantic HTML with headings, landmarks, and labeled navigation
  • Text labels on every contact form field
  • Keyboard operability with visible focus states
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Light and dark themes designed for sufficient color contrast
  • Pages that work at phone widths and with browser zoom

Ongoing work

Accessibility is a continuing effort, not a one-time checkbox. The site is reviewed as it changes, and some embedded third-party content — for example, YouTube videos on blog posts — may not meet every guideline. Anything that falls short is on the list to fix.
